Marko Hanhikorpi appointed as new CEO of Enfucell

The board of Enfucell has appointed Mr. Marko Hanhikorpi, M. Sc. (Chem. Eng.), eMBA, as new CEO commencing August 12, 2009. The former CEO since 2007 Mr. Juha Koskinen returns to his own consulting company.

Hanhikorpi arrives at Enfucell from Balancion Ltd, where he worked as director of operations. Earlier Marko has worked in various managerial positions in R&D and production at UPM Raflatac, and also at Confidex Ltd, whose founding partner and VP R&D he was 2005-2008.

Enfucell Oy

With main focus on printed electronics, Enfucell Oy is a Vantaa, Finland based technology company with its roots in the Helsinki University of Technology. Enfucell was founded in 2002 and employs ca. twenty people, including a presence in the United States, and it is owned by its founders, private investors, Veraventure Oy, a Finnish governmental venture fund, and Varma Mutual Pension Insurance Co., the largest private sector pension insurance company in Finland.
